Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is a wonderful place for kids and adults alike. The animals are amazing and they are all rehabilitated from either injuries or abandonment at a young age. The atmosphere of this place is great and I highly recommend going and becoming a member to support all of their community efforts and animals!

Fantastic zoo/nature center focused on native NH species - black bear, bobcat, otters, mountain lion, fox, hawks, and more. Interactive exhibits throughout with fun games and quizzes for kids, who will learn a bunch as you go. If you move fast between exhibits you might be able to do it in an hour, but plan for more like 2-3 hours. Makes a great day trip when combined with Rattlesnake trail hike.

What a great zoo. Bedsides the beautiful animals this zoo is clean and extremely interactive for all ages. There is tons of information around the zoo providing facts about all the animals and their habitats, communities, and ecosystems. The animals are diverse ranging from aquatic to semi aquatic to terrestrial. What an awesome place! I highly recommend!

This place is amazing! Better than any other science nature centers we've been to outside of a museum or zoo. Easy to find your way around, includes some hiking trails, and even have a play area for the kids. Absolutely must go!
